Messiah of Evil (1973)

A seaside town where everyone has started eating raw meat and standing very still. The supermarket scene and the cinema scene are two of the best sequences in American horror and almost nobody has seen them. Ash Borer work the same coastline — long, cold, tremolo pushing fog inland. Both take their time arriving and then do not leave.
