A pianist gets new hands from a murderer and spends ninety minutes not touching anything. Veidt again, holding his own fingers away from his body like evidence. Khanate's debut is made almost entirely of the space between events — a scream, then nothing for forty seconds, then the nothing gets worse. Both are about waiting for your own body to do something you did not authorize.
