The Head (1959)

A German mad-science picture with a serum called Z, a severed head kept talking in a laboratory, and an expressionist set design thirty years out of date and all the better for it. It is genuinely strange rather than merely bad. Chthe'ilist invent their own language for the same reason — because the available vocabulary was insufficient. Both are what happens when nobody is supervising.
